Zimmerman House
The boys may be in Florida along with Little Mo Peep, but that's not stopping me from adventuring away from home, too. Heading to the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester, New Hampshire, of course.
Going to the Zimmerman House with a tour by the Artista herself. So looking forward to viewing Frankie Lloyd Wright's architectural delight. Well, had an amazing personal tour. Only two other people showed up. Could I live here? No. However, I love the built in wall length couch...very cool.
Cushion was 3 inches thick. Very low to the ground. No pictures allowed. The birdbath in this photo was actually unearthed in the garden!

May Day
When I was growing up in Massachusetts, May Day was a special holiday. Mom would take us to the Coop (pronounced like a chicken's abode) which was a grocery store in Fitchburg where beautiful crepe paper May baskets were sold. Looking like tulips and roses and pansies and fanciful posies, these baskets were then filled with candies. On May 1st. we would hang them on friends' doorknobs and take them to our grandparents.
Daddy and I took the hounds down to the Connecticut River for a May day stroll. They loved the water and frolicked in the mud. Now they are tired and drying off in the sun. Not too happy to be left outside while I write.
Here are some May Day sights.
These three inch diameter logs were stripped clean and sharpened like pencils on the ends...maybe a beaver??
Big Daddy and Libby Belle back on the dreaded leash after her romp.

Cook Out, Anyone?
Linny and I were horrified to look out the window and see Big Daddy preparing the grill for our steak dinner along with Myles and Libby Belle as helpers....I hope high temperature gas grilling will kill the dog germs.

Take Me for a Ride
Went to see the Assistant's game. The Hounds stayed in the car... Lib decided to jump over the dog gate and ended up in the passenger seat. We drove home. She stayed in the shotgun seat as she refused to move. So we took a tour of downtown Hanove.
